About the position

The SAFe Scrum Master at ManTech International will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing program management services for a large-scale, enterprise IT services global contract. This position requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies to manage cross-functional teams effectively in a dynamic environment. The Scrum Master will act as a servant leader, facilitating Agile practices and promoting team dynamics to ensure continuous improvement and high performance.

Responsibilities

• Act as a servant leader and coach for a SAFe Agile team.
• Remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.
• Responsible for the continuous improvement of Agile practices in an Agile program.
• Identify and provide trainings to promote Agile maturity.
• Facilitate the core Agile team events and best practices (Planning, Retrospective, Refinement, Review/Demo, Team Sync).
• Work with Product Owners to identify priorities.
• Work collaboratively among cross-functional teams.
• Work closely with the Release Train Engineer (RTE).

Requirements

• A certified SAFe Scrum Master/Team Coach.
• A bachelor's degree.
• A minimum of (2) two years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Previous agile experience, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience working on large-scale programs with multiple Agile teams.
• Experience with or knowledge of SAFe Agile.
• Experience with Agile tools such as: Jira, Mural, Confluence, and Whiteboard for planning and tracking work performed by teams.
