About the position
The SAFe Scrum Master role is a contract position based in Marysville, OH, focused on facilitating Agile Scrum processes within a software development team. The Scrum Master will ensure efficient collaboration, guide the team in Agile principles, and support the delivery of high-quality solutions while managing project timelines and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within the team.
- Guide and coach the team on Agile Scrum principles and practices.
- Ensure the team collaborates efficiently to deliver high-quality products.
- Work with the Product Developer to prioritize the product backlog.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify and resolve obstacles hindering the team's progress.
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Track KPIs to help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time.
- Ensure adherence to the Scrum framework and Agile principles.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master with strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices.
- Experience with Agile project management tools, such as Jira and Confluence is a MUST.
- Ability to create dashboards on Jira and share timely reports with stakeholders.
- Not less than 10 years of experience in the IT industry with technology skills like Java, J2EE, web development projects, cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Nice-to-haves
- Good to have experience in the Automotive and manufacturing industry.
- Experience with NodeJS and legacy transformations/application modernization projects on AWS or Azure.
