About the position

Directs and coordinates warehouse activities to provide the safe, orderly, and expeditious movement of freight. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws. Performs the following duties personally or through subordinates.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the safety culture to the department and throughout the company.
• Oversight of all warehouse ground operations including shipping, receiving and customer relations.
• Standardizes high levels of service to clients.
• Reports irregularities, issues and successes to the Manager.
• Responsible for the administration, supervision and training of all warehouse personnel.
• Provides customer service by means of customer contact including providing general and specific information and resolution of specific and general customer problems.
• Ensures all Federal and State rules and regulations are adhered to.
• Responsible for all customer service and warehouse equipment and supplies.
• Assists Manager with Warehouse budgets.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
