About the position

The SaaS Technical Project Manager at Tyler Technologies is responsible for overseeing the incident response process, ensuring effective communication during and after incidents, and managing the implementation of Tyler software for both new and existing accounts. This role requires collaboration with SaaS engineering to ensure responsiveness and effective management of the incident response process, as well as leading data collection efforts and conducting root cause analysis. The position also involves technical project management for deployment teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the incident response process and ensure communication during and after incidents.
  • Work with SaaS engineering to manage the incident response process.
  • Lead data collection efforts from internal servers.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and document findings.
  • Develop and manage implementation project plans, including conducting kick-off meetings with clients.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables related to client software and services.
  • Track project activity and submit progress reports as necessary.
  • Act as a client liaison, communicating feedback and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct planning sessions with clients to create documented management plans.
  • Monitor project compliance and notify parties of schedule changes.
  • Publish summaries of key dates and issues to involved Tyler employees.
  • Communicate milestone completions to clients and secure formal acceptance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience.
  • Minimum of three years of experience as an implementation professional or equivalent.
  • Proven project management experience is essential.
  • Work towards obtaining PMP certification and maintain status after certification.
  • Knowledge of software life cycle and enterprise software.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical ability in a technical environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
