About the position

We are seeking a trustworthy and dependable live-in Driver/Personal Assistant to support the Owner in their temporary leisurely residence in California. This position requires a candidate who is not only a good driver but also possesses skills in cooking, cleaning, and shopping on a budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to assist with various tasks, including running errands, driving, grocery shopping, and occasional cooking. Basic cleaning duties and general assistance will also be part of the role. This is a live-in position, which means the selected candidate will reside at the Owner's residence and will be provided with meals and personal time. The compensation package includes a negotiable weekly salary, which will be discussed during the interview process. We are looking for someone who can begin immediately, and flexibility with relocation is a plus. Long-term possibilities may be available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Owner to various locations as needed.
• Assist with grocery shopping and errands.
• Occasionally cook meals for the Owner.
• Perform basic cleaning duties around the residence.
• Provide general assistance to the Owner in daily activities.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle (exceptions may apply).
• Ability to cook and prepare meals.
• Experience in cleaning and maintaining a household.
• Strong organizational skills for shopping on a budget.
• Dependable and trustworthy character.

Nice-to-haves

• Caregiving skills or experience as a nanny.
• Recent graduate or some college education.
