Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on various marine vessels and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Assist in the training of junior technicians and new hires.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Marine Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of marine systems and equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Nice-to-haves
- Certification from the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC).
- Experience with outboard and inboard engines.
- Familiarity with marine electronics and navigation systems.
