About the position

The Safe2Tell Operations and Engagement Coordinator (Program Assistant I) is responsible for overseeing business operations and supporting communication and outreach efforts for the Safe2Tell program. This role is ideal for a team player who enjoys variety and working with people, with a focus on making a difference in the lives of students and Colorado communities. The coordinator will manage day-to-day operations, serve as the initial point of contact for inquiries, and support the Safe2Tell Student Ambassador Program.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Safe2Tell information line and email account to address public inquiries.
  • Develop reporting and accountability methods to track major projects and initiatives.
  • Manage the master calendar for staff work, travel, and team meetings.
  • Support the Safe2Tell Program Director with scheduling, mailings, and communication tasks.
  • Draft and edit program communications for internal and external audiences.
  • Manage materials inventory and process supply and account invoices.
  • Engage with and monitor contracts for Safe2Tell vendors and platforms.
  • Administer the Safe2Tell Student Ambassador Program, including scheduling and managing inquiries.
  • Manage the safe2tell.org website and keep content up to date.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Four years of full-time work experience in program administration or project management, including direct experience with youth/students (K-12).
  • A combination of college coursework in relevant fields and work experience equaling four years, with at least one year of direct experience with youth/students (K-12).
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

  • Foundational understanding of the Safe2Tell program.
  • Experience managing business operations such as reconciling invoices and contracts management.
  • Project management experience.
  • Data management experience; proficiency with MS Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience developing marketing and outreach materials.
  • Experience with community engagement.
