About the position

The Safety Co-op/Intern position at Honda for Spring 2025 offers college students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Occupational Health and Safety across various departments. Responsibilities

• Assist with safety compliance evaluations (OSHA, NFPA, ANSI)
• Conduct confined space evaluations and develop safety inventories
• Perform safety audits and data tracking
• Implement safety compliance measures
• Conduct arc flash and fall hazard analyses
• Participate in hazard mitigation projects

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA or higher
• Class status: Sophomore or above
• Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• Ability to secure own transportation to and from work
