About the position

The Safety Database Analyst at Medpace, Inc. plays a crucial role within the Clinical Safety team, focusing on the setup and maintenance of safety databases. This position is essential for ensuring the integrity and functionality of safety data, which is vital for the development of safe and effective medical therapeutics. The analyst will assist in various tasks including database setup, issue resolution, report creation, and user training, contributing to the overall success of clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Assist with front end safety database enterprise setup and change verifications
• Assist in resolving safety database-related issues
• Assist with creating reports using Oracle Business Intelligence reporting tools
• Assist with upgrade validation of safety database and related software
• Assist in development of database instructions
• Assist with training of end users

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Informatics or similar area
• 1-2 years of database administration experience preferred
• Experience using Oracle business intelligence reporting tools preferred
• Excellent computer, organizational, and communication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with other business intelligence tools (i.e., Cognos, Business Objects, etc.)
