Responsibilities

• Communicates safety and security policies and enforcement procedures to students, staff, and visitors.
• Responds to a variety of situations such as accidents, injuries, vandalism, and suspicious activities.
• Collaborates with school personnel and local agencies regarding investigations and criminal activities.
• Prepares written materials like incident reports and activity logs for documentation.
• Intervenes in potential conflicts and emergency situations to minimize disruptions.
• Actively patrols school properties to maintain security and deter criminal activities.
• Adheres to professional attire norms for uniformed personnel while on duty.
• Participates in unit meetings, in-service trainings, and ongoing professional development.
• Provides traffic and parking control to maintain efficient traffic flow.
• Maintains job-related safety and security equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Experience working with youth and adolescents.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to administer first aid and operate standard office equipment.
