About The Position

The Safety Professional at Medcor Safety will play a crucial role in ensuring safety compliance on construction sites. This full-time position involves identifying safety hazards, communicating effectively with site crews and management, and implementing safety programs and policies. The role requires a proactive approach to safety management and collaboration with various stakeholders throughout the construction process.

Requirements

• Current CPR / First Aid Card required.
• OSHA 30 Hour Construction certification required.
• CHST or OSHA 500 certification preferred.
• Relevant safety experience is required.
• Ability to perform basic word processing and generate spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive professional relationships with field personnel and management during all phases of construction.
• Coordinate and conduct audits of all crews to identify unsafe work conditions and practices.
• Document and communicate site audit information effectively.
• Audit training records of all field personnel to ensure compliance.
• Implement federal, local, and site-specific safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Review and participate in the development of accident briefs and safety-related publications.
• Participate in the development of Site-Specific Safety Plans and conduct safety meetings.
• Review client/owner specific requirements to ensure compliance.
