About the position

The Safety Program Analyst at Endeavor Air is responsible for analyzing safety data and preparing reports to support the company's safety programs. This role involves interpreting statistical data, participating in safety review meetings, and developing queries for comprehensive analysis. The analyst will also create automated processes for data extraction and report processing, ensuring the effectiveness of safety, quality, and compliance management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret statistical data from various Safety, Security, and Ground Operations programs and analyze results to identify data trends.
  • Participate in decisions regarding data collection systems, dashboards, and strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
  • Organize data for the production of regular quality and safety risk reports utilizing Tableau and other tools.
  • Gather data from identified sources to provide visibility to management system effectiveness regarding safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Participate in internal department and external organizational safety review meetings.
  • Monitor external entities and industry data sources to ensure Endeavor is aligned with the latest safety data advancements.
  • Develop queries from system databases for comprehensive analysis.
  • Prepare periodic or ad hoc reports for senior management and other company departments and employees.
  • Create automated processes for data extraction, report processing, and distribution.
  • Assist in the creation of, and monitor performance of, Safety department goal metrics and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Safety, Analytics, or equivalent, or a combination of education and related experience.
  • Reliable and self-motivated with analytical, interpretive, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, able to work with all levels of an organization.
  • PC proficient in Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity or experience with Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, or Python preferred.
  • Familiarity or experience with API connections and/or database systems preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in airline operations preferred.
  • Private Pilot Certificate preferred.
  • Experience working in an airline Safety/Security department preferred.
  • Ability to work additional hours including evenings and weekends as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity or experience with Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, or Python.
  • Private Pilot Certificate.
  • Experience working in an airline Safety/Security department.
