About the position

The Lane Bryant Customer Specialist Sales Leader is responsible for creating a welcoming store environment through customer engagement and operational leadership. This role focuses on building lasting relationships with customers to help achieve company goals while promoting the brand's inclusive community.

Responsibilities

  • Create a hospitable store environment through customer engagement and operational leadership.
  • Build enduring relationships with new and existing customers to contribute to company goals.
  • Use company resources to enhance the brand experience and foster strong customer relationships.
  • Share knowledge of current products, fit, and fashion trends to inspire and build trust with customers.
  • Proactively plan and organize customer contacts to deepen relationships meaningfully.
  • Participate in community and store activities that promote the brand.
  • Utilize a 'Monthly Playbook' to track customer engagement activities.
  • Drive total store sales through effective floor supervision in the absence of management.
  • Stay informed about the business landscape, fashion trends, and key business drivers to enhance customer experience.
  • Balance customer service and operational tasks to prioritize customer needs.

Requirements

  • Strong sales or hospitality experience preferred with a proven ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
  • Ability to work at least 16 hours per week with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in using mobile technology (e.g., registers and iPads) to engage with customers.
  • Ability to adjust or move store fixtures and merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to retrieve merchandise displayed above shoulder level, including climbing a 12-foot ladder.
