About the position

The Salem Program Manager at Northwest Senior and Disability Services is responsible for leading and managing a team of social services staff who administer various programs aimed at supporting seniors and adults with disabilities. This role emphasizes critical thinking, leadership, and the ability to cultivate relationships with community partners, particularly within minority communities. The Program Manager ensures compliance with state and federal guidelines while promoting person-centered care and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the eligibility determination and case management of Medicaid LTSS program, OPI Program, and other Older American Act programs.
• Manage the performance of the team, including conducting supervision meetings and performance dialogues.
• Provide targeted outreach to Non-English speaking seniors and people with disabilities to increase awareness of services.
• Ensure that service delivery meets quality and compliance standards.
• Lead and promote a team environment necessary for program success among Non-English speaking consumers.
• Analyze, develop, recommend, and implement policies and procedures to meet program goals.
• Maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to ensure consumer safety and appropriateness of services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human services, public administration, business, or a related field.
• Minimum of seven years of experience in a related field, with at least three years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Demonstrated management and leadership expertise.
• Experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably seniors and adults with disabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and state social services assessment programs.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Spanish and English, with successful completion of a language proficiency test.
