About the position

The Sales Account Executive position is a dynamic role focused on driving revenue through the sale and servicing of radio advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess a positive, take-charge attitude and a creative mindset, essential for engaging with both new and existing business accounts. This role requires the ability to build credibility and trust in a B2B environment, targeting a diverse range of clients from global corporations to local businesses. In this position, the Sales Account Executive will be responsible for preparing and presenting tailored sales packages and innovative advertising concepts that resonate with clients' needs. Negotiation skills are crucial, as the candidate will work closely with clients and advertising agencies to finalize deals that benefit both parties. Regular communication with the Sales Manager is expected, including the provision of detailed reports on daily activities, new prospects, and sales forecasts, ensuring that the sales strategy aligns with company goals and market demands.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service new and existing business accounts.
• Generate revenue through sales of radio ad campaigns.
• Build B2B credibility and trust with clients.
• Target global, national, and local accounts.
• Prepare and present sales packages and creative concepts.
• Negotiate with clients and ad agencies.
• Provide regular reports to the Sales Manager regarding daily call sheets, new prospects, and forecasts.

Requirements

• Must be organized and detail-oriented.
• Resourceful with strong communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• A college degree is preferred.
• Outside sales experience in media is preferred.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships at the highest client and agency levels.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in radio advertising sales.
