About the position

The Sales Account Executive at Eurofins Scientific is responsible for identifying and managing client accounts within the Rocky Mountain territory, focusing on the Built Environment Testing sector. This role aims to maximize market share and profitability by establishing productive relationships with clients, acquiring new accounts, and effectively communicating Eurofins' services. The position allows for hybrid work and requires a proactive approach to sales and client management.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and manage client accounts and business opportunities in the assigned region.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with clients.
  • Acquire new accounts to sustain business growth.
  • Communicate Eurofins Built Environment Testing services to new customers and markets.
  • Follow up on leads, negotiate, and close profitable work.
  • Act as a customer advocate, communicating their needs to the internal organization.
  • Meet individual revenue goals for the assigned region.
  • Provide sales plan forecasts for the region.
  • Review credit status of customers before submitting bids or proposals.
  • Monitor accounts receivable status and resolve collection issues.
  • Develop strategies for pricing and bid/no bid decisions.
  • Create client profiles to assess potential and funding ability.
  • Track and close leads to increase revenue.
  • Report sales activity and update customer databases.
  • Develop and implement account plans to meet regional revenue quotas.
  • Identify key target markets and develop strategies for profitability.
  • Negotiate and complete Master Service Agreements with customers.
  • Collect and document pricing information to evaluate service capabilities.
  • Communicate customer needs to project managers for successful project completion.
  • Summarize sales development activities as directed by GM.
  • Follow up on outstanding bids, quotes, and proposals.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual issues with GM approval.
  • Present Built Environment Testing as a network of laboratories to improve efficiencies.
  • Control expenses related to the selling function with GM approval.
  • Provide feedback on market conditions for product development.
  • Maintain relationships with network facilities to stay aware of operational issues.
  • Provide information on business opportunity outcomes and pricing strategies.
  • Assist in developing sales materials.
  • Gather intelligence on competitors and communicate opportunities for new products.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Sciences or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a service industry.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
