About the position

The Sales Account Executive position focuses on driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new customers and engagement with existing clients in the industrial and commercial sectors. The role involves executing strategic sales plans, presenting proposals, and collaborating with various teams to meet customer needs while ensuring stellar service and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

  • Drive topline revenue by sourcing new customers
  • Engage with existing customers to drive topline revenue
  • Execute direct sales team yearly strategic plan for customer acquisition
  • Conduct daily outbound sales efforts
  • Present approved proposals to customers and close opportunities
  • Coordinate site visits/job walks between estimators and customers
  • Work with operations team on customer needs for quoted work, scheduled work, and parts
  • Provide accurate and detailed reporting on daily direct sales efforts
  • Contribute to content development for websites and social media sites
  • Distribute assets to communicate company capabilities to prospective customers
  • Attend and participate in local association and chapter meetings

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience with technical sales, boiler systems, or mechanical systems
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or a similar field
  • Thorough technical knowledge of mechanical systems applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience writing detailed proposals
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Account Executive in the boiler room equipment industry
  • Analytical and time-management skills
