About the position

DTS is seeking highly motivated, financially driven sales professionals to generate new business revenue in a zip code based territory in the Twin Cities metro area. In this role, you will be responsible for selling award-winning office technology and solutions including Copiers & Printers, Managed Services, VoIP Phone Systems and Document Management. DTS offers a competitive salary, excellent commission plan and outstanding benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop account relationships over the phone and in person to generate sales and maintain consistent growth of your client base and territory.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to prospects and current clients. Build and maintain account information in the DTS database/CRM.
  • Conduct face-to-face appointments with key decision makers.
  • Effectively qualify prospects to place our product/solutions.
  • Develop sales proposals and presentations for prospective and existing customers.
  • Take responsibility for individual and team sales of technology solutions (hardware/software).
  • Plan and track your activity with our CRM system.
  • Negotiate and close sales.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales is preferred, however, will strongly consider individuals with the personal attributes and aptitude required to be effective in this role.
  • Communicate a customer first attitude. Learn about the customer's goals and challenges to provide the best solution.
  • Develop the technical expertise in products and software to become a resource for your customer and prospects.
  • Must be a trustworthy individual.
  • Make it a priority to exceed the expectations of all concerned parties.
  • Ability to stay motivated, disciplined and achieve goals that you have set for yourself and your assignment.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and have the ability to stay focused.
