About the position

The Account Executive at Elara Caring is responsible for generating admissions and growing the patient census within a designated territory. This role focuses on outside sales, marketing clinical programs, and ensuring high-quality in-home care for eligible patients and families. The position requires collaboration with various medical professionals to connect them with Elara Caring's services, contributing to the company's mission of providing the Right Care, at the Right Time, in the Right Place.

Responsibilities

  • Generate admissions and grow patient census in a designated territory.
  • Market clinical programs and outcomes to become a top provider of care in the community.
  • Work with a wide range of medical professionals to connect patients and families with Elara Caring's services.
  • Utilize data and technology to support sales efforts and improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business is preferred.
  • Post acute or DME sales experience preferred.
  • Hospice sales strongly preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven sales acumen with demonstrated results.
  • Understanding of referral sources and decision makers in healthcare.
  • Skilled in problem solving and providing solutions to meet patient and business needs.
  • High confidence level to interact with healthcare professionals at all levels.
  • Competitive mindset to meet and exceed business objectives.
  • Demonstrates adaptability, enthusiasm, and willingness to cooperate with others.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare sales or related fields.
  • Familiarity with home care services and hospice care.
