About the position

Boring Business Systems is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Account Executive to join their team. This full-time position focuses on business-to-business sales, primarily in retaining and expanding sales revenue within an assigned territory. The role involves selling office equipment and technology services, requiring a proactive approach to cold calling, networking, and building relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Interface consistently with existing sales personnel on sales opportunities.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings and prospecting.
  • Gather information and prepare network assessments.
  • Consult with the Sales Manager on each proposal.
  • Complete and present proposals for new services.
  • Complete all necessary documentation needed to finalize sales.
  • Engage in continual learning of customers' technology infrastructure.
  • Communicate actively with all team members involved in the sales process.
  • Participate in trainings and sales meetings.
  • Conduct bi-weekly Account Reviews with the Sales Manager.
  • Assist with onboarding of new accounts.
  • Responsible for Account Reviews.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year or more of business-to-business successful account management and account development experience desired.
  • 1 year of cold calling/setting appointments experience required.
  • Familiarity with geographical areas, specifically Polk County and Hillsborough County.
  • A passion for technology is required.
  • 4 year college degree or equivalent experience in sales is desired.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with a high degree of professional etiquette.
  • Over-the-top motivation and creativity to successfully reach prospects.
