About the position

This position is focused on B2B sales, requiring the candidate to leverage the company's existing book of business to generate new leads and foster long-term relationships with clients. The role involves cross-functional collaboration within the company to ensure effective communication and management of customer accounts, with an emphasis on understanding customer needs and promoting company incentive programs. The sales cycle can be lengthy, with orders potentially taking up to 12 months to complete.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads and business from the company's book of business.
  • Work cross-functionally within the company to communicate effectively with clients and customers.
  • Create and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs.
  • Own the relationship for the lifetime of the account.
  • Develop relationships with company planners to manage existing orders and execute new order placements.
  • Manage documentation and reporting of the health of customers' accounts.
  • Promote company incentive programs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience required.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work without close supervision.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the Auto/Truck industry is helpful but not required.

Benefits
