About the position

The Sales Account Executive is responsible for managing customer interactions through various communication channels, providing accurate quotes for parts and repairs, and maintaining up-to-date product costs. This role requires a proactive approach to customer service, ensuring satisfaction and timely fulfillment of orders while supporting the sales team and managing documentation related to sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Answer sales calls and emails, providing customer quotes at competitive market values.
  • Maintain up-to-date product costs to ensure accurate quotes for customers.
  • Correspond with customers via email, phone, and various platforms for price, availability, and lead time inquiries.
  • Enter vendor quotes into the system to ensure accurate Fair Market Value (FMV).
  • Utilize company business systems to document customer needs and maintain communication regarding orders.
  • Gather information on airline fleets and potential changes to support sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with outside sales representatives to support assigned customer accounts.
  • Communicate new product opportunities and feedback to relevant personnel.
  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Identify and contact sales prospects and manage existing customer relationships.
  • Create and manage sales orders until fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery of parts.
  • Assist accounting with the collection of outstanding invoices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • General understanding of the aviation industry.
