About the position

The Sales Account Executive at The Water Restoration Group (WRG) is responsible for managing sales activities within assigned accounts and regions, focusing on water, fire, mold, and construction services. This role involves business development, customer relationship management, and ensuring customer satisfaction while embodying the company's GREAT values.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in approximately nine trade shows per year, managing scheduling, responsibility assignments, preparation and transportation of materials, setup, networking, vendor updates, meeting scheduling, and post-show materials return.
  • Attends networking events to establish and fortify contacts, updating contact information with follow-ups post-event.
  • Conducts Lunch and Learn sessions and Preferred Client Program presentations, coordinating with customers and ensuring attendees complete sign-in sheets.
  • Organizes company outings by confirming event details, coordinating with vendors, and following up post-event.
  • Establishes and maintains vendor relationships by meeting vendors at events and discussing sponsorship opportunities.
  • Submits weekly expense reports by saving receipts and filling out expense reports for approval.
  • Conducts daily meetings with prospects to discuss services and updates contact information.
  • Follows up on leads and visits by reviewing and updating notes from property visits and sending follow-up emails.
  • Secures preferred client agreements by discussing and reviewing preferred client programs with customers.
  • Upsells active jobs by following up with customers to discuss additional services.
  • Updates sales and business development reports by maintaining daily logs and KPI reports.
  • Focuses on customer retention by scheduling and attending one-on-one lunches or after-work get-togethers.
  • Handles account and job updating by adding new accounts to Dash and monitoring active jobs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a valid Florida driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the restoration industry or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Contacts in the vertical market.
