About the position

The Sales Account Manager - Automation will be responsible for driving new business growth for custom automated manufacturing solutions, particularly in the life sciences industry. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, managing the sales process, and maintaining relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and project advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic plans for business development and account management.
  • Prospect and qualify new accounts within target industry sectors and regions.
  • Lead the proposal process, ensuring timely and high-quality proposal delivery.
  • Prepare and present unique capabilities and solutions to potential clients.
  • Maintain regular communication with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Educational background in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a technical outside sales role.
  • Prior experience in the automation, medical technology, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter.

Nice-to-haves
