About the position

The Mission Critical Sales Representative at Automated Logic, a Carrier Corporation, is responsible for establishing, implementing, and selling ALC solutions specifically within the Data Center and Mission Critical sector. This role focuses on maintaining and expanding relationships with key customer personnel and decision-makers, facilitating connections between customers and ALC management, and promoting innovative solutions to meet customer needs. The position requires a combination of technical skills and a passion for customer service, supported by a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow assigned accounts while concurrently seeking new vertical customers.
  • Develop long-term relationships and build partnerships with customers.
  • Work effectively with internal personnel to create a strategic account plan.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline in Salesforce to meet or exceed annual sales and gross margin targets.
  • Assess customer needs and generate proposals promoting products and services in a timely manner.
  • Utilize sales tools effectively (CRM, estimating software, etc.) to document progress and increase business opportunities within accounts.
  • Negotiate master service agreements (MSAs) and contracts with the assistance of the legal department.
  • Demonstrate strong controls applications intelligence and understanding of data center urgency and unique mission critical requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of Data Center Project Management or Sales experience
  • Valid Driver's license

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Building Automation and/or HVAC Controls Sales experience
  • Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills
  • Collaboration skills for working in a team environment
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
