About the position

The Sales Account Manager at Nature Environmental is responsible for driving sales and managing customer relationships in the environmental services sector, specifically focusing on industrial waste management. This role involves developing and implementing business strategies, soliciting new customers, and ensuring customer retention while achieving sales targets. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying customer needs and constraints, as well as a thorough understanding of the company's services and pricing structures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies and sales/marketing plans.
  • Solicit new customers, prepare bids, and close sales while ensuring customer retention.
  • Review Customer Service Agreements for accuracy and compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Achieve consistent sales results through superior performance and relationship building.
  • Analyze data to identify qualified leads and maximize account potential.
  • Manage sales performance and customer interactions, regularly reviewing sales activity against goals.
  • Collaborate with business unit teams to implement key processes and solve customer hurdles.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the company's services, pricing, and structures.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in sales, marketing, management, or similar field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a sales role in a similar field.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Experience using business and sales software (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Salesforce, PowerPoint).
  • Strong experience in petro-chemical in-plant waste management and environmental services.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams.
  • Ability to manage business development across a large geographic area.
  • Participation in marketing events such as trade shows and seminars.
