About the position

Apogee Interior Solutions is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join their team. This role is focused on managing client relationships, driving business development, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the multi-family flooring industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction or flooring sales, with the ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities. The Account Manager will play a crucial role in developing long-term partnerships with clients and expanding the customer base while driving revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Analyze market trends and client needs to identify opportunities for business development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client requirements
  • Lead technical sales presentations and product offerings to prospective clients
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Stay informed about flooring, cabinets and countertops industry developments and competitor activities to effectively position our offerings in the market
  • Conduct warm calling to generate new business leads
  • Develop and implement account strategies to maximize sales opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients
  • Accurately measure multi-family units

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager specifically in multifamily, rental and/or builder flooring
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for building rapport with clients
  • Self-motivated and target driven mindset
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive strategic decision-making
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred or equivalent experience
