About the position

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maintain and expand sales of Estes transportation services within a designated territory. This role involves building customer relationships, utilizing CRM tools, and providing reports on sales activities. The Sales Account Manager will also promote new products and services, resolve customer concerns, and contribute to business forecasting while meeting predetermined sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to maintain and expand sales within an assigned territory.
• Provide reports on sales activities for a given period.
• Utilize CRM tools to build customer base and enhance product services.
• Interface with customers to understand their objectives and requirements.
• Contact customers regularly to maintain account relationships.
• Advise customers of new product and service offerings and obtain feedback.
• Share details on additional offerings to provide value-added service.
• Expedite the resolution of customer concerns.
• Prepare and conduct service presentations to customers.
• Contribute to quarterly/annual business forecasting by providing account trends and future customer needs.
• Promote world-class customer care throughout the terminal.
• Meet and exceed predetermined sales goals and report on progress weekly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience; Master's Degree preferred.
• Three years of experience in Sales, preferably in LTL/transportation sales.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
• Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
• Strong work ethic, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Prior CRM experience preferred; SalesForce CRM experience highly preferred.

• Experience in transportation sales is a plus.
