About the position

The Sales Account Manager serves as the primary contact for designated customers within their assigned territory, focusing on maintaining relationships and increasing business through effective sales strategies. This role involves executing sales calls, managing product displays, and ensuring compliance with quality standards while also providing opportunities for career advancement after six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Execute and close all sales calls for assigned routes.
• Maintain and sell incremental displays as needed.
• Ensure proper pricing.
• Accomplish timely and productive execution of sales plans and promotions at retail.
• Secure trade support by communicating pricing and product promotions.
• Coordinate use of product displays and point-of-sale materials.
• Manage promotional events and other product promotion opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with Quality Control and product code date standards.
• Assess product rotation on shelf and in back room to maximize product freshness.
• Manage accurate inventory levels to minimize out-of-stock and out-of-code issues.
• Manage product breakage return.
• Plan and conduct regular sales calls to accounts.
• Communicate account activities to appropriate parties.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Bachelor's Degree with 0 to 2 years of related experience or High School Diploma and 3 to 4 years of specific experience.
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds regularly and up to 175 pounds occasionally.
• Must have reliable automobile transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance coverage.
