The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing accounts, ensuring clients are satisfied, and generating new sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer accounts for long-term success
  • Sole contact for assigned customers providing a world-class customer service experience
  • Developing new sales opportunities by identifying potential new customers
  • Identify and implement best practices, suggests innovative ways to increase sales and enhance customer experience
  • Meet and maintain sales & profitability goals
  • Monitors and reports sales performance
  • Assist in the prospecting quoting, closing, review and retention stages of sales cycles
  • Works closely with Engineering, Scheduling, and Operations Departments to ensure customer needs are met
  • Travel as required to customer sites, 2-8 days per month expectation to meet with customers & strategic partners

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience as an outside sales representative in manufacturing industry preferred
  • Excellent sales, marketing, customer service, teamwork and communication skills required
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Valid Drivers License for travel to customer sites
