About the position

The Sales Account Manager at The Salem Group is responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring their needs are met, and supporting various sales-related functions. This role requires a strong background in automotive sales and involves collaboration with multiple departments to facilitate customer satisfaction and financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts and ensure their needs are met in a timely manner.
• Provide customer portal support and assist with financial collections.
• Support APQP and related documentation processes.
• Update sales policies and procedures as necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance customer service.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales.
• Knowledge of automotive chemicals and their applications.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver's license and passport.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint (3 years preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft Office (3 years preferred).
• National travel experience (2 years required).
