About the position

The Account Manager at Amazon Advertising plays a crucial role in managing complex advertiser relationships and initiatives. This position focuses on helping advertisers make effective, analytically driven marketing decisions by leveraging Amazon's data and insights. The Account Manager is responsible for developing media strategies, optimizing advertising campaigns, and driving performance through data analysis. This role requires collaboration with various teams to enhance advertiser satisfaction and achieve revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Become a knowledgeable partner and leader on Amazon Advertising solutions
  • Develop annual media strategies for growth based on overall advertiser goals and objectives
  • Develop campaign strategies and audience engagement recommendations
  • Evaluate success metrics and drive campaign performance using data
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to form and deliver actionable recommendations for both short- and long-term advertising strategy
  • Educate advertisers on performance metrics, insights, and how to drive greater results on Amazon
  • Work cross-functionally with sales and other Amazon partners to drive incremental revenue and increase advertiser satisfaction

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in digital advertising and client facing roles
  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Marketing, Advertising, Statistics, Engineering or Business or equivalent work experience
  • Work experience in digital media including display/search advertising, campaign optimization, analytics platforms, client management and business development
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue results and significantly contributing to customer success
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration skills with experience developing customer relationships and influencing key decision-makers
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good judgement and ability to use large datasets to solve problems that span business and technology
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, ever-changing business
  • Passion for always learning and developing new skills
  • Located in or near an Amazon Advertising sales office, or able to relocate to one
  • Able to travel to customer office

Nice-to-haves

  • Digital Advertising focused degree and/or coursework
  • An ability to analyze quantitatively, and problem-solve
  • Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • 1+ year of digital advertising or equivalent experience, including internships
  • Experience using online productivity tools such as Office 365, Salesforce, or similar software
