The Sales/Account Manager position is a critical role focused on expanding and nurturing the Constant Contact Partner Network. This remote position requires a proactive individual who can analyze vertical markets to identify and recruit top partners, ensuring their success through effective engagement and support. The role involves a combination of strategic planning, relationship management, and operational execution to maximize long-term productivity and deliver exceptional experiences to partners. In this role, the Sales/Account Manager will be responsible for responding to inquiries from vertical partners and actively recruiting targeted partners. This includes identifying potential reselling partners within specific vertical markets and leading the onboarding process to establish strong relationships. The manager will work collaboratively with new partners to develop tailored business plans, ensuring alignment with the channel leader, especially in larger organizations. The position also entails deploying approved channel partners and identifying complementary products and services to enhance the partner offerings. The Sales/Account Manager will communicate any gaps in channel coverage to senior management and facilitate warm hand-offs to the channel marketing manager and sales management to drive joint marketing campaigns and transition relationships effectively. Additionally, the role requires maintaining an active pipeline of partners by sector, updating the CRM daily, and coordinating recruiting efforts with other vertical channel account managers. The Sales/Account Manager will also attend partner meetings, tradeshows, and industry conferences to present updates and recruit new partners, contributing to the overall growth and success of the Constant Contact Partner Network.
