About the position

The Sales Account Manager serves as the primary contact for designated customers within their assigned territory, focusing on maintaining relationships and increasing business through effective sales strategies. This role involves executing sales calls, managing product displays, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and maintaining accurate inventory levels to optimize product freshness and availability.

Responsibilities

• Execute and close all sales calls for assigned routes
• Maintain and sell incremental displays as needed
• Ensure proper pricing
• Accomplish timely and productive execution of sales plans and promotions at retail
• Secure trade support by communicating pricing and product promotions
• Coordinate use of product displays and point-of-sale materials
• Plan and conduct regular sales calls to accounts
• Manage accurate inventory levels to minimize out-of-stock and out-of-code issues
• Assess product rotation on shelf and in back room to maximize product freshness
• Manage product breakage return
• Communicate account activities to appropriate parties
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Bachelor's Degree with 0 to 2 plus years of related experience or High School Diploma and 3 to 4 plus years of specific experience
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 175 pounds
• Must have reliable automobile transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the Company and state law
