About the position

The Sales Account Manager will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth for IBS Electronics by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, with a focus on electronic components, and involves attending trade shows, conducting product training, and maintaining market awareness to maximize sales potential.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt for new opportunities by generating and pursuing leads.
  • Attend trade shows and networking events.
  • Coordinate and attend quarterly business reviews (QBR) to develop strategies and discover opportunities.
  • Participate in internal product training and conduct client-focused product training.
  • Provide a quick response time to clients, answer technical questions by coordinating with the product management team, and follow through at every stage of the sales cycle to meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, industry news, competitor activities, and innovative ideas for discovering sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • A degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic component sales.
  • Proven track record of success in account management and sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
