About the position

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maintain and expand sales of Estes transportation services within a designated territory. This role involves utilizing CRM tools to enhance customer relationships, advising customers on new products, and ensuring world-class customer care. The position requires regular interaction with customers to understand their needs and provide value-added services, while also meeting predetermined sales goals and contributing to business forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to maintain and expand sales within an assigned territory.
• Utilize CRM tools to build customer base and enhance product services.
• Interface with customers to understand their objectives and requirements.
• Contact customers regularly to maintain account relationships.
• Advise customers of new product and service offerings and obtain feedback.
• Share details on additional offerings to provide value-added service.
• Expedite the resolution of customer concerns.
• Prepare and conduct service presentations to customers.
• Contribute to quarterly/annual business forecasting by providing account trends and future customer needs.
• Promote world-class customer care throughout the terminal.
• Meet and exceed predetermined sales goals and objectives, reporting on progress weekly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; Master's Degree is a plus.
• Three years of experience in Sales, preferably in LTL/transportation sales.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
• Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
• Strong work ethic, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Prior CRM experience preferred; SalesForce CRM experience highly preferred.
• Ability to work all shifts and in all areas relative to terminal needs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in LTL/transportation sales is a plus.
• Ability to lift approximately 20 lbs. or more if required.
