The Sales Account Manager role at Burkhart Dental Supply involves providing expert advice on dental merchandise, equipment, and services to clients in Olympia, WA, and surrounding areas. The position focuses on driving sales growth through existing and new client relationships, ensuring exceptional client experiences, and achieving sales goals. This is an outside sales position that may require significant travel depending on the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on dental merchandise, equipment, and services to clients.
• Drive sales cycle for merchandise and small equipment sales to assigned clients.
• Nurture current client relationships and develop new sales opportunities.
• Meet volume, growth, and margin targets for assigned product lines.
• Prospect for new clients and network to grow the business.
• Ensure clients utilize Burkhart for all facets of business: equipment, merchandise, and service.
• Deliver exceptional client experiences through effective communication and customer service.
• Collaborate with Sales Account Managers, Equipment Specialists, and Service Technicians during co-travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field.
• 4 years of successful outside sales experience in a medical or technical sales field.
• Demonstrated success in closing large equipment sales.
• Ability to travel by car and airplane to client offices and events frequently.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
