About the position

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and enhancing customer relationships while driving sales growth within their designated territory. This role involves executing sales plans, managing product displays, and ensuring proper inventory levels to maximize product freshness and minimize issues related to stock and product breakage.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain relationships with customers while increasing business through sales and product ordering.
  • Execute and close all sales calls for assigned routes.
  • Plan and conduct regular sales calls to assess customer needs and product rotation.
  • Manage accurate inventory levels to minimize out-of-stock and out-of-code issues.
  • Sell and maintain incremental displays while ensuring proper pricing and timely execution of sales plans.
  • Secure trade support and coordinate the use of point-of-sale materials.
  • Lift products regularly, ranging from 25 to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 170 pounds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 0 to 2 years of related experience, or a High School Diploma with 3 to 4 years of specific experience.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable automobile transportation with minimum auto insurance coverage as specified by the company and state law.
  • Ability to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds regularly and up to 170 pounds occasionally.
