About the position

The Sales Account Orchestrator is responsible for generating revenue through strategic named accounts and key vertical markets, focusing on high-level business problems and solutions. This role involves establishing and maintaining customer relationships at various management levels, particularly within the Automotive and Transportation industries, with a strong emphasis on Electric Vehicles. The Sales Executive is tasked with creating and growing business within assigned accounts to meet or exceed financial and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue through start-ups, new logos, existing customers, and new business/account pursuits.
  • Understand and sell solutions for high-level business problems independently, incorporating all SPLMS product lines.
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships at the line management level and senior management/executive levels.
  • Meet/exceed annual sales targets (revenue, bookings, billings, etc.) and maximize individual sales opportunities.
  • Create effective proposals linking solutions to customer business needs and leverage pricing, packaging, and business models.
  • Negotiate customer agreements effectively.
  • Develop important relationships within accounts, translating customer challenges into unique business value.
  • Ensure the Siemens PLM team delivers business value to the accounts and build effective account business plans.
  • Maintain and grow opportunity pipeline within accounts and use sound call planning to drive business results.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and detailed forecasts and construct internal/external presentations professionally.
  • Coordinate and influence all appropriate resources for account and/or opportunity development.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of B2B-related sales experience, preferably in technology/software sales.
  • Knowledge of engineering or related processes for product development and manufacturing.
  • Experience in the Heavy Equipment and/or Automotive space.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Must reside in the Midwest and work within a Siemens office if within commutable distance.
  • Knowledge of new technological advancements.
  • Up to 50% travel may be required.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Presentation, Spreadsheet, and Word Document applications).
  • Proven sales methods and metrics.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a B2B sales process.
  • Ability to work with and influence at a senior leadership level.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence others as part of a virtual team.

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years of Enterprise Software sales experience
