About the position

The Sales Analyst position within the Industrial Digital Manufacturing team at Misumi USA is a full-time role focused on enhancing sales operations and driving productivity improvements. This role serves as a strategic and operational partner to sales leaders, representatives, and cross-functional business partners, with the primary goal of accelerating sales of ID Manufacturing's meviy offerings. The Sales Analyst will be instrumental in facilitating high-value updates and outcomes across various business operations, insights, processes, and tooling. In this capacity, the Sales Analyst will collaborate closely with sales teams to identify, analyze, and report on key sales performance metrics, including revenue, conversion rates, win rates, and pipeline coverage. A significant aspect of the role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining robust sales dashboards that provide actionable insights to sales leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making. Regular data audits will be conducted to ensure the accuracy and completeness of sales data, with a focus on identifying and rectifying any discrepancies or inconsistencies. The Sales Analyst will also play a crucial role in defining and refining the sales target-setting process, working in tandem with sales leadership and finance teams to ensure that targets are both ambitious and realistic. Analyzing sales trends and patterns will be essential for identifying opportunities for improvement, and the Sales Analyst will be expected to make recommendations for optimizing sales processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and finance, will be necessary to gather and integrate relevant data for comprehensive sales reporting and analysis. Monitoring and evaluating sales performance against targets will be a key responsibility, with the Sales Analyst highlighting areas of concern and proactively identifying strategies to address performance gaps. Regular reports and presentations will be provided to sales leadership and other stakeholders, communicating the analysis of sales data and recommending actions to drive sales growth. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, technical proficiency, and a collaborative mindset to succeed in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in sales operations, business analytics, or a similar role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Data Analysis, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical components industry practices, techniques, and standards preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience using SQL and CRM tools (Salesforce and Tableau) to track and report activities.
