About the position
The Sales Analyst Intern position at Sony Interactive Entertainment is designed for undergraduate students who are passionate about business management and eager to gain hands-on experience in sales analysis. This role involves analyzing sales data, reporting on performance, and collaborating with various teams to enhance the PlayStation brand experience. The internship is hybrid, requiring presence in the Bentonville, Arkansas office, and aims to provide valuable insights into the sales operations of a leading entertainment company.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand sales data by account to identify trends and opportunities.
- Report on overall sales performance and highlight key trends.
- Track and analyze promotional and marketing spending to assess effectiveness.
- Create and track purchase orders (POs) at the account level.
- Maintain and update the item-level database to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with Account leads to deliver best-in-class operational excellence.
- Work closely with the Customer Experience team to exceed expectations in both online and brick-and-mortar brand experiences.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Management or a related field, with an expected graduation date by Spring 2026.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for your work.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Eagerness to learn from and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
