About the position

The Sales Analyst position at ABL Wholesale Distributors involves supporting the Sales Team and Customers by compiling and analyzing sales, marketing, and industry data to drive business opportunities and profit. The role requires a bachelor's degree and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to perform various analytical tasks and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze internal sales and industry trends to find patterns that support ABL Wholesale's business goals.
  • Research sales statistics and establish sales potential with new businesses in each target area.
  • Prepare zone wholesale pricing, sales budgets, and projections for Management approval.
  • Track Sales Team commissions, spiffs, and goals.
  • Establish new data gathering and analysis techniques to standardize reporting.
  • Develop reports that are easy to navigate, understand, and implement.
  • Use statistical tools to create strategies and recommendations that identify new opportunities with current customers, optimize pricing, and target new markets.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with Sales Reps.
  • Frequent presentations to Management Team and Sales Team.
  • Create, maintain, and communicate consistent reporting schedules.
  • Responsible for archiving and securing all sales data and reports.
  • Establish ongoing report training procedures for internal teams and customers.
  • Work together with Purchasing, Inventory, Finance, Warehouse, and Customer Service Departments to resolve issues.
  • Additional tasks & projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, marketing, business, or finance is REQUIRED.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word Processing, and Power Point REQUIRED.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analysis skills.
  • Excellent oral, time management, and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and initiative.

Nice-to-haves

  • Outside Sales and Customer Service experience is preferred.
