About the position

The Sales and Branch Management / Leadership Trainee position at U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. is a full-time role designed for individuals looking to develop their leadership skills in the electrical wholesale distribution industry. This intensive, hands-on program spans 18-24 months and includes various assignments across regional branches and central distribution centers, providing a comprehensive understanding of the business operations and preparing trainees for future sales or management roles.

Responsibilities

• Complete an intensive, hands-on, 18-24 month leadership development program.
• Participate in up to seven distinct phases: Warehouse, Counter Sales, Inside Sales, Project Management, Outside Sales, Back Office, and Branch Operations.
• Engage in a shared curriculum on various prerequisite subjects during the first 12 months.
• Work with a manager to determine a preferred course of study and specialize in sales or management after 12 months.
• Participate in additional online training covering topics such as electrical distributor operations, customer service, and leadership.
• Receive training on the ERP system and on-site manufacturing factory training.
• Be mentored by industry professionals throughout the training program.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree required or equivalent work experience.
• Proven leadership ability.
