About the position

The Sales and Business Development Manager for Buy with Prime at Amazon is responsible for driving growth through effective lead generation and relationship building with potential enterprise clients. This role involves understanding client needs, managing a sales pipeline, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance the sales process. The ideal candidate will leverage their sales expertise to educate and qualify leads, ultimately positioning Amazon's solutions as trusted options for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the company's products and services, using comprehensive knowledge and consumer research to explain how our solutions meet customer needs.
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives in next steps.
  • Identify best practices for refining the company's lead-generation playbook.
  • Build rapport with future Enterprise clients through strategic outreach and client research.
  • Implement feedback to improve individual and team performance.
  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop sales-ready leads and opportunities through lead-generation activities and cold-calling.
  • Lead client conversations with VP level and above, presenting Buy with Prime's perspective and understanding client needs.
  • Collaborate with team members and Sales Executives to pursue opportunities and schedule qualified meetings.
  • Influence other organizations internally to leverage existing champions and strategically position products to meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience identifying, developing and closing new enterprise business merchants.
  • Experience generating partnerships and developing strategic plans to expand the enterprise client base.
  • Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to complete deals.
  • Experience leading client conversations with VP level and above.
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.

  • Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams across geographies and business units.
  • Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements and influence product roadmaps.
