About the position

The Sales and Business Development Representative at Atlantech Online, Inc. is responsible for driving sales by actively seeking new business opportunities and setting appointments for the sales team. This role involves engaging with potential clients, particularly in the telecommunications sector, and requires a proactive approach to building relationships and presenting the company's products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails, and social media to set meetings to present all Atlantech products.
  • Contact property managers and tenants in Atlantech's lit buildings to create awareness of all Atlantech products with the goal of setting meetings and presenting sales proposals.
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
  • Present the company to potential clients, identify client needs, and suggest appropriate Atlantech products and services.
  • Regularly attend networking events and engage with industry groups to develop partnerships.
  • Build long-term relationships with prospective clients for future business opportunities.
  • Research industry trends, competition, and new markets to develop sales strategies.
  • Meet and exceed sales objectives and targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in commercial business to business Sales, Business Development, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calls, social media, email, and networking.
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Teams, and O365.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in commercial business to business sales or in commercial real estate in the Washington, D.C market is highly desirable.
