About the position

Redbridge is seeking a Sales and Business Operations Specialist to enhance the effectiveness of U.S. Relationship Managers (RMs) in expanding the client base and driving sustainable revenue growth. The role involves optimizing sales processes, identifying sales opportunities, and coordinating across various departments to ensure efficient lead generation and project management. The ideal candidate will have a strong organizational skill set and a proactive approach to improving sales team effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure sales best practices are in place and sales effectiveness is fully optimized.
  • Identify sales opportunities with RMs through systematic review of their accounts and market trends.
  • Identify emerging, exploitable client trends and RM development opportunities based on analysis of salesforce and other sales data.
  • Coordinate across sales operations, marketing, inside sales and RMs to ensure efficient lead generation, campaign and conference project management.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews with RMs and identify/ensure systematic RM follow up.
  • Ensure all sales materials are up to date, stored centrally and easily accessible by RMs.
  • Optimize sales conference preparation and follow-up processes.
  • Identify out of date and inaccurate records in the company's Salesforce CRM database and liaise with RM to address them.
  • Provide ad hoc RM support for specific RM led business development initiatives.
  • Maintain and update revenue customer records in the SalesForce CRM system.
  • Monitor and report on conference and campaign effectiveness, identifying process improvement opportunities.
  • Review Salesforce reporting to identify business development and RM development opportunities.
  • Coordinate and collaborate across departments to manage business development projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2 - 3 years' proven experience optimizing sales team effectiveness.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Effective time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multitask and accurately meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to improve sales operations, identify opportunities and resolve challenges.
  • Independent, proactive self-starter with a proven track record of self-driven success in previous roles.
  • Proficient in SalesForce or a similar CRM system.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Must be based in Chicago.
  • Ability to travel on company business up to 10%.

Nice-to-haves

  • Intermediate experience using Salesforce, Thompson Reuters, Capital IQ and/or Bloomberg.
  • Previous experience working in a Commercial / Corporate Bank, Financial Advisory firms, Rating Agency or Financial Software firm.
  • Proficiency in French.
