About the position

The position involves designing and implementing effective training curricula for customer-facing teams globally, utilizing adult learning best practices. The role serves as a liaison between internal customers and leadership, focusing on identifying training needs, resolving performance challenges, and ensuring compliance with company standards. The individual will analyze current training environments, conduct needs assessments, and develop metrics to measure learning effectiveness, while also creating comprehensive training materials and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Design effective curriculum to train customer-facing teams based on adult learning best practices.
  • Act as a liaison between internal customers and the Customer and Sales Operations leadership team to determine training needs.
  • Proactively work with leadership to define and resolve workplace performance challenges.
  • Analyze current state environment, including performance gaps and job/task/needs analysis.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and identify learning opportunities to standardize performance excellence.
  • Facilitate discovery meetings and conduct interviews to confirm training needs.
  • Work with technical subject matter experts to capture course-specific knowledge.
  • Write concise, creative, and effective instruction and course design documents.
  • Create project documentation including design templates, standards, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain consistency and quality in project delivery.
  • Provide thought leadership around learning solutions incorporating best practices in adult learning theory.
  • Design, develop, and implement measurement and evaluation strategies for learning solutions.
  • Provide input into work plan creation regarding the design and development of learning solutions.
  • Implement course design recommendations and training materials into available delivery tools.
  • Prioritize training requests across the department to deliver high-priority training materials.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex information and research data.
  • Technical skills to organize and prioritize efficiently in a Windows operating environment.
  • Expertise in adult learning theory and instructional design best practices, including training formats and models like ADDIE.
  • Excellent communication skills, including group presentation skills and responsiveness to team needs.
