About the position

The Sales and Customer Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and contributing to the overall success of the sales operation. This role involves engaging with customers, processing transactions, and maintaining an organized sales area.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in finding products
• Process sales transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized sales area
• Stock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
• Utilize phone etiquette when answering customer calls

Requirements

• Previous experience in sales or customer service preferred
• Proficiency in math for processing transactions
• Familiarity with landscape and construction products is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service
• Good sales skills with the ability to determine customers' needs
• Experience with stock management and inventory control is a plus
• Valid Driver's License required
• High school diploma or GED required
