About The Position

As a Sales and Design Specialist at HermanMiller, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their wellness journey by providing education and product demonstrations. This position focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and building relationships while promoting HermanMiller's office furnishings and home products. You will be responsible for understanding product features, ergonomics, and benefits, ensuring a high-quality client experience.

Requirements

• Retail sales or customer success experience preferred.
• High energy and personal engagement skills.
• Experience with a POS system and proficiency with MS Office software, web navigation, and 3D rendering programs.
• Able to routinely move objects weighing over 20 pounds and to understand safety requirements.
• Schedule flexibility to meet the demands of our clients and promotions, which requires working on weekends and holidays, and one hour before and after operating hours.

Responsibilities

• Create an authentic educational client experience as you guide clients on their wellness journey.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, product knowledge, and engagement fostering a team dynamic.
• Prospect for new business by reaching out to new customers, growing existing customers, and developing A&D relationships; build a customer base.
• Process transactions and sales orders according to company policy.
• Ensure that visual and experiential standards are always met.
