About the position

The Capital Grille is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales and Event Manager to join our team in Tampa, FL. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $80,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package. As a Sales and Event Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience, from the initial planning stages of events to the execution of those events on-site. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of event sales, including client consultations, menu planning, and coordination with the culinary team to ensure that every detail is executed flawlessly. Your passion for culinary excellence and wine knowledge will be essential in creating memorable experiences for our guests. In this role, you will also be responsible for developing and leading a high-performing team. You will provide training and mentorship to staff, ensuring that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver outstanding service. Your leadership will foster a positive work environment that encourages growth and collaboration among team members. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a stable job history that demonstrates upward career progression, showcasing your commitment to excellence in the hospitality industry.   • Stable job history demonstrating upward career progression.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in restaurant management for at least 2 years.
  • Ability to relocate to Tampa, FL before starting work.
